Origin

Langa Accountants (LA) was formed in 2000 and is one of the few professional accounting firms in South Africa with multiple offices conveniently located in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Durban.  While we don’t strive to be the biggest firm … we do strive to be the best. We employ approximately 30 people on projects, some who have been with our company for over 15 years.

 

The Founder

The founder of Langa Accountants is Mandla Langa who was born in Durban and lived in a township called Umlazi.  After Grade 12, he studied a B Com (Acc) degree, served articles, qualified as a Professional Accountant (SA) with South African Institude of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) and as a Business Accountant (SA) with South African Institude of Business Accountants (SAIBA).  He also completed an MBA and currently studying PhD at Wits.  He has financial experience of over 20 years, started as an Accountant, Financial Manager, Financial Director and Chief Financial Officer in various organisations. He has been offering Management and Leadership in Accounting and Business whilst being appointed as Chairperson of various Committees.
